When I was much younger, this was one of the first super robot anime series that got me fascinated with the idea of cyborgs and the merging between human and robot, creating beings that were more powerful than humans and that could ‘defeat’ evil enemies. Many of the super robot anime depicted robots as heroes ready to save humanity from evil aliens who wanted to rule the world.
